Ruth Ann Ebbing

Ruth Ann Ebbing, age 87 of Goshen, OH passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hamilton, OH on July 22, 1934, to Robert and Augusta (Gerdis) Boggs. On August 18, 1956, she married James Robert Ebbing, Sr. and together they raised four children in the Lindenwald area of Hamilton, Ohio. Ruth Ann loved helping people through volunteering and on a personal one-to-one basis. She loved square dancing, working, planning and taking trips, playing card games with her friends, and just spending time with her beloved family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Ebbing, Sr. She is survived by her children, James Ebbing Jr., Martin Ebbing, Lyn (Ebbing) Hayes (Rick), and Anna (Ebbing) Palazzolo (Paul); her grandchildren, Ryan Ebbing (Desi), Ashly Ebbing, Megan Cory, Cassidy Ebbing (Kim), Chad Ebbing, Caleb Englehard, Chloe Englehard, Brittany (Farmer) Markus (Josh), Ian Hayes, Garrett Hayes (Allison), Amber Lacey, Erin Lacey, Jenny Palazzolo, Anne Marie (Palazzolo) Roy, Gina (Palazzolo) New (Mat), and Paul Palazzolo; her great grandchildren Aspen Ebbing, Cameron Ebbing, Ckylee Ebbing, Jailin Cromwell, Karina Cromwell, Liam Markus, McKenna Markus, Eli Hayes, Aubrie Hayes, Anthony Palazzolo, Juniper Roy, Nobel Roy, and Lavender Roy; her sister, Linda (Boggs) Stricker Johnson, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well her siblings Robert Boggs Jr., Frank Boggs, Mary Belle (Boggs) Weisbrodt, Edward Boggs, Stanley Boggs, Betty (Boggs) Moryl, Marie (Boggs) Flaig Sutton, Jeannette (Boggs) Ebbing Weik, and Martin Boggs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with son-in-law Rick Hayes officiating at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. It was Ruth Ann’s wish for family and friends to send flowers to a loved one in lieu of sending them to the funeral home, or donations can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Ruth Ann Ebbing.
