TOWNSEND, Rose Marie, age 79, of West Chester Township, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 15, 1943 to Mary (Probus) and James Watson. Rose always put family first even her grandchildren, enjoyed nik naks, collecting rocks whenever they would travel to the Smokey Mountains, Rocky Mountains and Teton Mountains, supported the Fairfield High School Drama and Tempo clubs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Clara Roederer; brothers, James Watson Jr.; Joseph Watson.
Rose is survived by her husband, Robert L. Townsend; daughter, Lorraine Gale Goodman (Devin); son, Robert D. Townsend; grandchildren, Josh, Kayla, Savannah; brother, David Watson.
Visitation will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home; 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 from 10:00 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Pastor Joe Payne officiating.
