Robert W Adkins

Robert “Big Bob” Adkins, age 68 of Hamilton passed away at home on April 7, 2022. He was born in Hamilton, OH on January 6, 1954 to Robert and Edna (Nelson) Adkins. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob served 22 years in the United States National Guard retiring as Sergeant. He loved his dogs, Oreo and Ruger. Bob delivered building supplies for many years. On July 14, 1984 he married Brenda Adkins. Big Bob had a big personality and was loved by everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Brenda Adkins; his children, Misty Adkins, Clinton Adkins, Renee’ (Alvin) Carpenter, and Angie Mullins; his grandchildren, Justin, Robert Patrick, Evan, Cody, Cassidy, Aaliah, Bobbi, Brandon, Johnathon, Alexandria, Haley, Levi, and Blake; his great grandchildren, Natilyn, Olivia, Jaxon, Samuel, Lucas, Ollie, Aiden, Wren, Charlotte, Mazy, Andrea’, Little Levi, Landyn, and Lucas; his siblings, David (the late Linda) Adkins, Donald “Gene” (Lois) Adkins, Faye (the late Greg) Angel, Sarah Williamson, and Patty Adkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Junior and Cleo Bustle and his dog, Angel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 11:30 AM until time of funeral service at 1:30 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends Humane Society.
