Phillip Ellsworth Baker, age 69 of Reily Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence. Phillip was born on August 20, 1946 in Hamilton, the son of the late William Ellsworth Baker and Betty (Martin) Keller. On August 13, 1966 in Reily, he married his wife of over 49 years, Wayna “Peggy” Wooton. Phillip was a pipefitter with Local 392 for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He loved fishing and mushroom hunting, but his life really revolved around his children and grandchildren. Phillip is survived by his wife, Peggy Baker; children, Cassandra (Jeff) Rice and Matthew Phillip (Tanya) Baker; grandchildren, Parker Carleton, Jackson Phillip, Mitchell Matthew, Alexis Nicole, and one on the way, Madelynn Margaret; and sisters, Donna (Timothy) Sundo, Cynthia (Elbert) Rush and Yolanda (Randall) Singer. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Phillip’s name to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
