Age 95, formerly of Hamilton, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Chesterwood Village in West Chester. She was the daughter of the late Pete and Lillie (Swanner) Steele. Pearl was employed for 45 years with Champion Paper Company in Quality Control. She was a former member of Tuley Road Church of the Nazarene, a member of Eagles Auxiliary #407, Amvets and the American Legion. Pearl is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Boyce and Karen Dickman; three granddaughters, Missy (Paul) Collins, Stacey (Travis) Lampel and Paige Dickman; four great-granddaughters; four brothers, Ed, Dwight, Logan and Fred Steele; two sisters, Leona Gabbard and Sue Mistyurk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 1pm on Friday, March 2, 2012. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm.
