

Paul Robert Wilson, age 87 of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born on January 20, 1928 near LeSourdsville Lake in Monroe, the son of the late Frank and Geneva (Morison) Wilson. Paul graduated from Hamilton High School and attended Miami University in Ohio. He married his wife of 22 years, Betty (Taylor) Wilson on November 6, 1993 in Fairfield. Paul was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and a past Mason and Shriner. He was a member of Valley Chapel Community Church and had worked as a Foreman at Fisher Body for 40 years. Paul is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Dr. Craig (Shelley) Wilson and Dr. Gary Wilson; step-children, Rex (Rosalie) Woodruff, Mark (Renee) Woodruff and Tami Pansire; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Bill Wilson, Bert Wilson and Annabelle Evans. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 2pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Seivers officiating.
