Paul "PR" Carpenter

Paul “PR” Carpenter, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Hamilton on October 4, 1940, the son of the late Emery and Emma (Powell) Carpenter. PR was a retired truck driver and loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Lois (Ashcraft) Carpenter; Children, Tonja (Ronnie Cerullo) Adams, Crystal (Shanna) Sorber, Tasha (Ashley) Baker, Paul (Stephanie) Carpenter II and Earl Carpenter and his grandchildren, David, Anndrea, Sarah, Abby, Aaliyah, Paul III and Sydney and daughter-in-law Garlene Adams. He was also preceded in death by his children, Preston Carpenter, Vincent Means, Darrell Adams Jr and Tonya Carpenter; grandson Marcus Smith and siblings, Shelby Whitaker, Carl and Lloyd Carpenter. Visitation will be on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6-8pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Josh Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
