Pigman, Obra, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the age of 90. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on January 6, 1934 to Hester and Ida Pigman. Obra graduated from Hamilton High School in 1951, retired from IBEW Local 648, maintained an impeccable lawn and landscape, was a big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, had a strong Christian Faith and donated too many charities.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Shirley; daughter, Sheryl; son, Scott; great grandchildren, Strawther and Nicole; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Lucy Shelton; Sisters-in-law, Louise (Arnold) Hibbits and Jean (Shelton) Boyd.
Obra is survived by his daughter, Sheila; son, Steven; Grandchildren, Shane, Lisa, Stephanie, Tara, Kyle and Candace; Great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Nora, Kamryn, Neil; His siblings: Erna Johnson and Deanie (Willis) Allen; Brother-in-law, Ed (Judy) Shelton. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends Eric, Jane and Heather.
Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 am. Rev. James Love Jr., Officiating.
