Margaret E. Green Brown

Margaret E. Brown, age 78, of Hamilton, died on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Ft Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky, on December 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Elisha and Thelma (Flint) Green. Margaret graduated with the 1952 Class of Hamilton High School. On June 25, 1954, in Hamilton, Margaret married her husband of over 38 years, Harold Edward Brown, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 1993. She retired from Ft Hamilton Hospital. Margaret was a member of Stahlheber Road Baptist Church which was her main activity and where she began the church library. Margaret is survived by her beloved pet, Prissy; two sons, Dennis Harold (Deborah) Brown of Hamilton and Thomas C. Brown of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Amberly Jean Brown of Hamilton and Daniel Harold Brown of Fairfield; and two sisters-in-law, Lois Green and her family of Hamilton, and Margie Brown and her family of Hamilton. Margaret was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Green; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Cliff Bailey; brother-in-law, Charles Brown; and sister-in-law, Patricia Lester. Funeral services will be held at Stahlheber Road Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, OH 45013, at 10am on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, on Monday from 5-8pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to Stahlheber Road Baptist Church Library Fund.
