Marcia Elizabeth Burkett

The world lost a beloved wife, mother and angel, Marcia Elizabeth Burkett, age 73, of West Chester, Ohio on September 23, 2023. Marcia battled cancer, but it never stopped her from giving out the best hugs. Marcia passed in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Marcia was caring, supportive, and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Marcia loved spending time with her family, remarkable cook, enjoyed her camp in Pennsylvania and was an avid bowler.

Marcia was born on April 24, 1950, in lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. She Married Thomas Burkett Jr. on December 6, 1969, at Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mary McElwain.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Burkett Jr., sons, Thomas Burkett III (Trent Miller), Michael Burkett (Sharon), Joseph Burkett; grandchildren, Amanda, Alexander, Elizabeth, Kathryn; great-grandchild, Easton; sister, Amy Waugaman (Randy); sister-in-law, Lana Naviglia (Raymond). Marcia will be loved and cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 5:30 pm until 7:30pm the Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023 all at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Father Phil Hooper officiating.
