February 22, 2025. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 14, 1947, to
the union of Louis Robert Fisher and Dorothy Catherine Von Hagen. Louis
received an honorable discharge from The United States Army and retired
from Proctor and Gamble after twenty years of service. He and his wife of
53 years were owner/operators of their family business, D & L Silks. He
was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. Louis had a big heart and
loved helping people. He loved fishing, vacationing with his family, a nascar
enthusiast, and was always the life of the party. Louis was known to be
energetic, have a strong business head and work ethic. He was very
sociable and never met a stranger. Those who knew him best would
describe him as being compassionate and had a really big heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Louis leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Dorcas (Dottie); son,
Louis Darian Fisher; daughters, Kristin A. Anderson (Martin) and Kendra D.
Zoller; brother, Ronald Fisher (Marjeanne); sisters, Marilyn L. Fassett and
Donna J. Ketterer (David); grandchildren, Coltin V. Anderson, Madelyn A.
Zoller, Nathaniel G. Zoller, and Devin L. Fisher. Lastly, his devoted care
giver Ashley Perry.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd.,
Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, beginning at
10:00am until time of services, beginning at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Disabled American
Veterans (https://www.dav.org) or to Fairfield Church of Christ in Louis’
name.
