Joyce Ann Wilson

Joyce Ann (McQueen-McRoberts) Wilson, age 85, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on May 17, 1938 to the union of Sam McQueen and Blanche Edwards. She was a long time member of Richmond Road Baptist Church in Hamilton. Later, she became a member of Hope Baptist Church in Indiana. Joyce was a member of The American Business Women’s Association in Middletown, Ohio, where she grew professionally in leadership, education, and networking skills. She was employed at Champion International Paper Company. She also worked at Meijer in Hamilton, Ohio. Joyce was a kind and generous individual who devoted time to her loving family as well as her church family. She enjoyed participating in activities at her retirement home.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James McRoberts; brother, Don McQueen; sister, Winnie Haber; one nephew and one great-niece.

Those surviving who will cherish Joyce’s memory include: son, John McRoberts(Stacey); daughter, Teresa Campbell (Kevin); brother, Audley McQueen (Joyce “Peachie”); sisters, Norma Rudicil (Bill) and Naomi Poe (Ron); grandchildren Lisa Hutson (Doug) and Jim Cornett (Susie); great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Mary, Joshua and Leah; a host of other nieces, nephews family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 12:00pm until the time of services, beginning at 1:00pm. Ted Loman, officiating.
