Josephine "Jo" V. Haar (LaConte), 96, Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on December 23, 2023 at Hillebrand Care Center of natural causes. She formerly resided in Bellevue, Ohio and St. James City, Florida. Jo was born on November 21, 1927 in Norwalk, Ohio. A graduate of Norwalk High School, she later married Paul J. Haar in 1948. Primarily a homemaker, she was also employed at the Fanny Farmer Candy company for 12 years. She was an active member of the Catholic churches in Bellevue and St James City. Jo enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, playing cards and most of all pampering her pets, Lady the chihuahua and Katey the cat. She was married to Paul for 47 years. He preceded her in death in 1996. Together they raised three sons, Thomas (Mary), Philip (Shayna), and James (Debra), who survive along with three grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on January 20, 2024 with a luncheon to follow at St. Paul's Church, Norwalk, Ohio.
