Age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at the Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1936, the son of the late Truman and Ethel Van Sickle. John was an Engineer for Union Oil and retired as an independent. John was also a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. He is survived by his son Michael Van Sickle; grandchildren, Linda and Tyler Wiley; brother Ted Van Sickle and friend Paul Betz. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Laura Wiley. Funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday May 5, 2016 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home with David Hargrave, Minister officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
