John Clifford Straub, Jr., age 69 of Ross, passed away on May 11, 2023. John was born on November 2, 1953 in Hamilton to the late John C. and Nellie (Gray) Straub, Sr. On September 23, 1993 in Hamilton he married the love of his life, Diane (New) who preceded him in death on September 11, 2022. John is survived by his children, Misty Myers, Gina Charles, Roy (Judina) Blankenship, and Beverly (Billy) Dotson; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Clifford (Terri) Straub, Walter (Laura) Straub, Bob (Susan) Straub, Cheryl (Scott) Stoll, and Sonya (Norm) Williamson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, James New; and brother, Paul Straub. A Private Graveside Service will take place for family per John’s wishes. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Joyce Park, 25 Joe Nuxhall Way, Fairfield, OH 45014 at 2pm in Shelter 21.
