Jeanette "Sis" Roach

Jeanette "Sis" Roach, age 71, of New Miami, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday February 25, 2012. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on October 21, 1940 the daughter of the late Horace V. Webb and Ella May (Rose) Webb Creech. On October 25, 1958 in Hamilton she married Eugene Frederick Roach who preceded her in death on May 9, 1998. She operated Jeanette’s Styling Salon for many years. Jeanette enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking. A very loving and caring person with a heart of gold, she was devoted to taking care of her family She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jo Roach of New Miami; son, David Roach of Hamilton; grandsons, Matthew Roach and Michael Roach; sister, Katherine Overly of Hamilton; brothers, Horace V. Webb Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee and Paul (Linda) Webb of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton at 10:00 am on Wednesday February 29th with Pastor Orville Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 pm to 8 pm. Jeanette’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Simco, the staff of ICU at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, especially nurse Robin. Also to Kerri with Home Health Care.
