On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Jane Vaughn (née Kolbenstetter), passed away at the age of 91. She died peacefully at Hospice of Hamilton with family by her side. Jane was born on August 6, 1927, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Elmer and Anna Kolbenstetter. She married Harold (Arky) Vaughn in 1947 and they celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary just last year. Jane and Arky worked closely together running Vaughn Realty and Auctioneers. She loved family time, playing golf with friends, and the beach in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. She was a lifelong member of Faith Church on Millville Avenue. She is survived by her husband, son John (Susan) Vaughn, and daughter Connie Roush (née Vaughn); grandchildren Elizabeth Vaughn (Brad), Patrick Vaughn, Katryn (Michael) Bowman, and Matthew (Gillian) Roush; 5 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Elaine Morner and Fay Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Esther Kolbenstetter, Ruth Cooley, Mary Ann Klink, Ray Kolbenstetter, and Robert Kolbenstetter. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Faith Church, 1877 Millville Ave. Hamilton,Ohio 45013. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Faith Church.
