Isaiah Jordan Erickson

Isaiah Jordan Erickson, age 22 of Rising Sun, IN, tragically passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born on May 6, 2002 in Cincinnati, the son of Cassandra Erickson and Victor Martinez. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Paul L. Erickson II and Victoriano Martinez. Isaiah is survived by his parents, Victor Martinez and Cassandra Erickson; stepfather, Dave Peters; daughter, Maliyah Castillo; Maliyah’s mother, Jennifer Castillo; siblings, Victoria Erickson, Victor “Max” Martinez, and Emiliana Martinez; grandmother, Suzanne (Michael) Murphy; aunts, Amie Taylor and Melissa Erickson; godparents, Danielle and Javier Velazquez; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Isaiah was a strong, funny, kind, genuine, loving, and caring person. Isaiah enjoyed playing football and his favorite color was red. He loved to collect toy cars and his favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. He loved to be the center of attention and to make other people laugh, and he loved spending time with family and friends. His proudest accomplishment was being a father to Maliyah. Isaiah loved the western lifestyle - he loved the hats, the boots, the dirt, the horses, the way they could just run free. He was a young man with big dreams. A Visitation will be held from 3pm to 6pm on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton.
