Howard N. Anderson

Howard Niels Anderson, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. Howard was born on July 25, 1929 in Royal, IA, the son of the late Alfred and Esther (Rassmussen) Anderson. He married his wife of 53 years, Ruthe Lavera (Bragg) Anderson, on February 8, 1948 in Kansas City, MO, and she preceded him in death on February 28, 2001. Howard is survived by his children, William Alfred Anderson, Michael (Denise) Anderson, Douglas Anderson, Timothy (Erika) Anderson, Thomas (Sharon) Anderson and Deborah Roberts; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Viola Hagedorn, Darlene O’Sullivan and Luella Lindt; and sister-in-law, Elsie Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Francis Anderson and Leonard Anderson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
