Helen V Knapp

Knapp, Helen Virginia, age 85, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born June 20, 1939 in Red Dragon, West Virginia to Gazella and Louis Gall. Helen married her husband, Charles, on December 17, 1956. They arrived in Hamilton, Ohio in 1957, and raised their family in Ross, Ohio. Helen was a woman of strong Christian faith and loved her church, Morning Star Christian Fellowship, where she was a member for 48 years. Helen retired from The Ross Country Day Preschool where she was privileged to care for many infants and toddlers over the years.

Helen will be remembered for the love and kindness she gave to everyone she met. Helen had a marvelous sense of humor and gave her family much joy and laughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles C. Knapp, Sr.; sisters, Mary Gall, Elizabeth Hezel (Albert), and Margaret Gall; brothers, Steven Gall (Betty Jo) and Joseph Gall.

Helen is survived by daughters, Rebecca Hauser (Ernest) and Deborah Marlow; son, Charles C. Knapp Jr.; grandchild, Keegan Burton; brother, Louis Gall, Jr. (Betty June); sister-in-law, Irene McIntosh (Thurmond); nieces and nephew Stephanie, Marcy, Sondra, Roselynn, and Joe; and many nieces and nephews on her husband's side of the family. She will continue to be loved and cherished by a host of family, friends, and neighbors.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Rev. Ron Howard, officiating.
