George William "Billy" Cope

George William "Billy" Cope, age 63, passed away in his home on June 7, 2020 of natural causes, leaving behind several family members and friends. Billy was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 11, 1957 to William George Cope and Stella Marie McVey. He is survived by his sons, Shane and Billy Cope; grandsons, Scotty and Hunter Cope; granddaughter, Kelsey Cope; and several great-grandchildren. Billy is also survived by sisters, Edna Mae Cope (David) Troxell, Carolyn Sue Cope (Danny) Brewster, Teresa Cope (Stanley) Anderson, Nancy Cope (Robert) Loy, Tracy Cope, Margaret Hunley, and Donna (fiancé John Campbell) Hunley; brothers, Gilbert W. Cope, Earl (Joyce) Hunley, and Christopher Cope. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Cope; father, William George Cope; mother, Stella Marie Gray; and niece, Michelle Lynn Hobson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 with Pastor Shawn Cadle of The Mission Lane Baptist Church officiating. Following the service, you are invited to join everyone at Millikin Woods for a Wake to celebrate the life of George Cope.
