Gary Lee Born

Gary Lee Born, age 63, of Hamilton, died on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati on December 6, 1947, the son of Bert and Mary Ann (Koger) Sapp. Gary retired from the US Navy as a Master Chief after serving his country for 20 years, including during the Vietnam War. He then went into the flooring business as a salesman for 15 years. Gary was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles. He loved life and lived it to his fullest. Gary is survived by his beloved son, PFC Phillip Born US Army; beloved wife, Wanda Born; parents; step-sister, Dottie Philpot; nieces; nephews; other loving family members; and his Moose and Eagles friends. Cremation has taken place and private services are being held at the convenience of the family.
