Elmer Lee Campbell

Elmer Lee Campbell went home to be with the Lord Saturday May 21, 2016 at home with his family. He was born May 18, 1940 the son of Virgie and Finley Campbell. Elmer was member of Emanuel Baptist Church and was employed at Champion Paper for 35 years. He loved music, fishing and gardening. He was preceded in death by a son Jeffery Robert Campbell, his parents, a brother William Campbell and a sister Phyllis Ann Dugan. Elmer is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Campbell, his loving daughter Jennifer Lee (McArter) Campbell (Kale), a granddaughter Abigail Lee Campbell, grandsons William Campbell, Cade Campbell, a great-granddaughter Nala Lee (Knight) Campbell whom brought him so much love and happiness in his final days; his loving sister Dean Wells, brother-in-law William (Linda) Wages, sister-in-law Tammy (Nick) Glaub and many nieces and nephews whom he loved and cherished. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton 45011 on Thursday May 26, 2016 from 11am to 1pm. Celebration service will be 1pm Thursday at the funeral home.
