Age 93, of Hamilton passed away at West Chester Hospital on Friday, February 20, 2015. She was born in Sharonville, Ohio on August 21, 1921 the daughter of Maurice and Estella (Miller) Sies. On August 26, 1941 in Sharonville, Ohio she married Robert T. “Bob” Burton. They were married over 72 years when he preceded her in death on February 7, 2014. A homemaker Dorothy was devoted to her family. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Sharon) Burton of Fairbanks, Alaska, Robert T. (Pamela) Burton Jr., Judith (Carl) Downie, Roger (Debbie) Burton, Jerry (Flor) Burton, Bruce Burton, Darlene Lockemy, and Bonita (Steven) Hobbs all of Butler County; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; and brothers, Clifford Sies and Herbert Sies. In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Burton; brothers, Maurice Sies and James Sies; and a sister, Helen Duermitt. A memorial service is pending.
