Age 64, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Alois Alzheimer Center, Cincinnati. She was born in Hamilton on October 28, 1950 the daughter of Thomas and Wilda (Loheide) Johnson who preceded her in death. She graduated from Taft High School in 1969 and shortly thereafter began working at Champion International Paper, Knightsbridge where she worked until 2000. Diane volunteered every year at the Kroger Classic Golf Tournament. She was a devoted Disney fan, taking numerous trips every year for many years to Disney World, her favorite place. She loved shopping and holidays. Diane was well known for remembering every birthday and making every celebration special with her carefully chosen Hallmark cards and her beautifully wrapped gifts. Her thoughtfulness, kindness, and friendship will be greatly missed by many. She is survived by her Aunt, Norma Brockman; cousins, Larry (Kathy) Johnson, Jan (Jamie)Johnson, Mike (Peggy) Brockman, Dan Hacker and Kathi Coleman, all of Hamilton, Karen (Gerry) Auclair of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Gail (Leroy) Kitssembel, and Steve Getz of San Diego, CA; and a number of second cousins. She also leaves dear friends, Linda and Eddie Steiner and other good friends who have shown her much support through her difficult time. A very special and heartfelt thanks goes to Kathy Johnson who was Diane’s hands-on primary caregiver for the last 4 years. Also to the staff at Woodlands of Hamilton and to Alois Alzeimers Center hospice who took good care of her during her final days. Funeral service will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., on Monday, April 27th at 12 Noon, with Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer Assn.
