David Lee Wesley Sr., 62, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Beloved father, son, brother and friend. David was born in Liberty, KY, on August 13, 1959. He is survived by two children he adored and who loved him very much – David Lee Wesley, Jr. [Jenn Carter] of Middletown, OH, and Kimberly Adkins (Eric) of Venice, FL, and four grandchildren – Logan, Deegan, Connor, and Venna. He is also survived by four stepchildren – Mikey Denning, Mackenzee Graves, Mattie Chambers, and Gavin Chambers – his younger sister, Teresa Wesley Hanson (Chuck Hanson) of Hamilton, and his older brother, James Michael Wesley of Lexington, KY. He is preceded in death by his dad, James V Wesley of Liberty, KY, his mother, Ina Mae Wesley of Liberty, KY, and his younger brother, Gregory Wesley.
David grew up in Norwood, Ohio, where he graduated from Norwood High School in 1977 and the HVAC program at Scarlet Oaks CDC. David was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast. He participated in many motorcycle benefit rides to raise funds for charitable causes and for friends. David enjoyed going camping every chance he got, and enjoyed attending bluegrass music festivals. He never passed up a game of cornhole and competed weekly during the summer in cornhole tournaments at Mutts Brewery in Trenton.
David loved to joke around, enjoyed life to the fullest, always had a smile on his face, and would do anything for anybody – especially his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road Hamilton, OH 45013.
