Clarence Halcomb

Age 96, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday February 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1918 in Line Fork, Kentucky, the son of the late Irvin and Mary Halcomb. On June 7, 1952 in Hamilton, he married Arlyn Jean Davis and she preceded him in death on March 2, 2013. Clarence was a union carpenter and a member of Unity of Garden Park Church. He is survived by his three children, Darrell Halcomb, Scott (Jan) Halcomb and Doris (Mark) Young; seven grandchildren, Darrell L. Halcomb II, DeAnna West, Cynthia Skogsburg, Allison Halcomb, Spencer Halcomb, Clint Young and Emily Young; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 7 siblings, Ross, Wallace, Harry and Lester Halcomb, Eva Goodman, Mary Jackson and Jessie Swafford. He was also preceded in death by his 5 siblings, Lawrence, Wilmer, Warren and Tolbert Halcomb and Ruth Partin

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1pm on Monday February 16, 2015 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, with Rev. Kathy Engelhardt and Brother Bill Halcomb officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held prior to services from 11am to 1pm on Monday at the funeral home. The family would to send a special thank you to Clarence’s caregiver, Lisa Gray for all her loving care and support over the past two years. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in his memory to Unity of Garden Park Church, 3581 West Galbriath Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239.
