Brenda Sue Lakes

Brenda Sue Lakes, age77, of Fairfield Township, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2023. She was born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky on January 31, 1946 to the union of William Young and Georgia Young (Rose). She found enjoyment in quilting and sewing, watching TV game shows including Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Price Is Right, and thrift shopping. Brenda loved both her family and her North Fairfield Baptist Church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Carlos Lakes, Jr.; son, Rodney Lakes; sisters, Phyllis New and Shelby Creekmore; brothers,William Young II and Delmar Carl Young.

Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Lisa Matson; son, Raymond Lakes; six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 10:00am until time of services beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Mark Wilson, officiating.
