Bernice Johnson

Bernice Johnson, age 88, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky on October 15, 1935, to the union of Troy and Eugenia Eversole. She married Paul Johnson on January 17, 1952, and they were blessed with 71 years of marriage. Bernice worked and retired from Avon Products after 20 years of service. Bernice worked and retired from Avon Products after 20 years of service. Bernice was a dedicated Christian and enjoyed serving at her church in various communities where she lived during her life. Bernice enjoyed working in her flower garden, volunteering at the clothing center and was a long time UK basketball fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Johnson; sister, Wilma Stamper.

Bernice is survived by daughters, Debbie Farler (Mike), Bonita Swartz (Lloyd); grandchildren, Ellie Frye, Nathan Swartz (Rachel), Seth Swartz; four great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Peggy) Eversole; and a host of Family and Friends.
