Tim was bigger than life, he had a gregarious personality, always laughing, teasing, and carrying on with those around him. He was a very kind, and gentle soul, and would give the shirt off of his back to help those he loved.
He was known best for his interest in fitness and bodybuilding – anyone in the fitness-world knew Tim’s name. He competed in a number of provincial, national, and world bodybuilding competitions, with his proudest moment being when he placed 1st in his division at the 2009 WBFF World Championship in Montreal, Quebec.
Tim was very diligent in educating himself, and performing research into the things that interested him. As the saying goes “he was a jack of all trades, but a master of none” – he was a self-taught personal trainer, dietician, pharmacist, and horticulturalist.
Tim is survived by his best-friend and loving partner in life, Michelle, and his step-kids, Justin, Taylor, and Devin; mother, Catherine; father, David (Carrie); sister, Angela (Scot); brothers, Tyson and Tyrone; niece and nephew, Mara and Caiden; his Grampa and Nanny Brown, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his older sister, Angela, and Grandparents, Arthur and Edith Rafuse.
Visitation will be held at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax on Sunday, May 8th from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Saint Benedict Parish, 45 Radcliffe Dr., on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcare Place, or the Marguerite Centre.
