Clare, Theresa “Terri” Alice (nee Taylor), age 79, of Halifax, peacefully passed away on June 21st, 2024, after a long illness.
Terri dedicated her early career to Dalhousie University, where she served as Chief Technologist of Microbiology and later in the purchasing department. Post-retirement, she pursued her passions wholeheartedly, which included antique toy collecting, the Red Hat Society, painting, and fostering cherished friendships at Starboard Place, her home prior to her illness.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Lawrence Clare (2016), Terri is survived by her daughter Shannon Clare Steele (Andrew) and granddaughter Hannah Steele (Myles) and her brother David Taylor (Janice).
In accordance with her wishes, Terri has been cremated and there will be no visitation or formal service.
Terri will be remembered fondly for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
