Ted was my brother in law many years ago..and a wonderful uncle to Sherry Spears and Debra Spears.. Ted Sherry is with you and Robert (Bob) I lost her to cancer as well Oct 31st 2016.. Thank You for helping me to leave a very painful relationship and to understand It was the only way to save myself and my children from further hurt.. You are together now and I know you are at peace.. Thanks for being there for me....Sandra Cummings Spears.. now know as Sandra Wray .. 

 Dear Family and Friends of Ted,  Even tho I cant really say that I knew Ted a real lot, having only met him once, I would dearly like to beable to comfort you in some way at this very hard and trying time!
    I can see from the photos what a lovely Gentleman he was and how much he loved his family and Friends!
   What a Great thing it is to know that he Loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and that the Bible assures us that 
1Jo 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
     What a blessed hope,  this verse in telling you that Ted is abiding forever,  he is not Gone forever, but has risen from this sad sorrowful world, to the Glory of being in heaven with God,  He did the will of God in so many ways,  He showed forth the Love of God through his his life and the way he lived it, caring for  others, being kind to those around him, being helpfull, etc etc,  i am sure that those who knew him more could think of many many more ways that he showed his love for God to those around him, and thus ways that he did the will of God in his life!
1Jo 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
1Jo 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

John 14:15   If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16   And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17   Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 14:21 ........ "and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest" (Show) "myself to him."

Words  cannot express how saddened I was to hear of the passing of your father, Donnie.  While I did not have the pleasure of meeting him, Richard has told me how close you are to your father. Perhpas I can say, I may have a small appreciation of how you may feel having lost my dad a year ago. I have learned to gather strength from the good times we shared and I know that your memories of your father will bring you some comfort. Please know that I am thinking of you and send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Ted was such a blessing to me; a great friend and a faithful brother in the Lord. He was so loved by all the kids that rode our Sunday school bus over the years. At least once on every trip, someone would suggest, "Let's sing Ted's favourite song!" and we'd all sing "Jesus Loves the Little Children" for our driver. He was a true friend to me and to so many others, and his absence will be felt deeply. So glad we will meet again. Love and prayers to Ted's family during this time.

I only had a few interactions with Ted, many years ago, mostly when he would come to pick up his son, Donnie, at my house as Donnie was/is best friends with my brother Bernie. Ted had a very kind nature and was very interested in playing guitar for me and Bernie, but the thing that impressed me most was his clear affection for Donnie ( "Donald" was how Ted always referred to him, it was very sweet ). I have no doubt that affection was also given to Donnie's sister Candace and more recently her children.
We have lost a gentle soul in Ted, and my heart goes out to his loved ones.

I had the privilege of getting to know Ted almost 5 years ago.  He was a great help to me when i lost my own father in 2008.  To donald and the rest of ted's family. my thought are with you at this terrible time.

This is to my great friend Ted whom I had many wonderful memories over the years. Ted I am sorry that when I called 3 days before you met Christ at the door of your mansion you had already taken a step closer to the final road of your life this I will regret, but to the family this is not good bye only so long and we will meet again where pain and suffering will be no more as you now already know. Ted I will never forget you my tears are for your quest for your heavenly home is now over, my what you must see at this time I can only dream about and how you are now basking in the sun of the "Son" a trip that began a long time ago when you got saved. So Ted until we meet again its wonderful to know that you live forever more in the house of the Lord.
