After graduating from Dalhousie University with a B.A. and B. Ed., Susan followed in her Dad’s footsteps and worked for Air Canada for thirty years. Not content to be idle in her retirement, Susan subsequently worked part time at the Bedford Library where was still employed at the time of her death. She loved to travel and particularly enjoyed her golf holidays in Florida.
Susan was generous, kind-hearted, fun to be with and most of all, she was a lovely, sweet person. The courage and cheerfulness with which Susan faced significant obstacles was admirable.
Susan is survived by her brother, Steven and his wife, Cathryn, and numerous relatives and friends who loved her and will truly miss her. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and Susan’s ashes will be scattered at a private family gathering.
