Susan Joan Lavoie

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Susan J. Lavoie, 60, on Oct. 27. A beloved daughter of Joan and the late Peter Ross, kind and loving partner of Don, nurturing and loving Mother to Ally (Wes) Martin and Katherine (Kirk), lovingly entwined twin sister to Kathy (Ray) Rothermel, devoted sister to Bill (Susan) Ross, beautiful grandmother to Will and Fiona and special Auntie to Emily, Caroline, Olivia and Will. Susan was predeceased by her Father, Peter, whom she admired and loved deeply. Susan was born and spent her youth in Halifax where she cultivated long-lasting friendships and a profound admiration of Nova Scotia and her beauty. After meeting Don, they grew a life together in Northern Ontario and have spent the last twenty five years crafting more friendships and their beautiful homelife in London, Ontario that was the soul of her family and anyone who had the pleasure of visiting and enjoying her hospitality. She made every holiday a festivity, with every single detail touched by her beauty.
