I only knew Sharon for a short time, but she has left a lasting impression on me. I will always remember Sharon as an optimistic, strong, inquisitive and kind person. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Jamie,  I was so heartbroken to hear about Sharon’s passing and struggle through her illness. I haven’t seen either of you in such a long time but have so many warm memories of you both as high school badminton buddies and sweethearts . Sharon was one of the most lovely , kind individuals I’ve come across in all of my years and I’m certain an incredible mother to Elijah as well.  I’ll always remember her fondly and as a lover of crazy cats  ;). Sending you and Elijah,  as well as Sharon’s family and close friends my sincere condolences . Sharon and you all have been on my mind since I’ve heard the news . Much love and care ..❤️

We knew Sharon briefly through curling but felt that we had known her forever. Such a warm, vibrant, enthusiastic, dedicated and caring person. The obituary picture truly represents our memory of this wonderful individual.

Oh my Sammy, 40+ years of friendship and adventures all wrapped up in your smile. I feel so blessed you have had you in my life and have been able to call you friend.  You had a huge heart and an infectious smile and anyone who knew you immediately fell in love with you. I can’t drive by the house in Miscouche  without being overwhelmed by memories of all the adventures we had, from making up dances in the living room and  swinging on the swings in the basement, to every time we stepped onto a gym floor together.  We always had a good time filled with so much laughter. 
Joe, Brian, Darrell, Francis and families, she loved you fiercely.  She would always talk about what was going on in your lives.   
Jamie and Elijah,  I really wish you could’ve heard the way she spoke about you. You could hear the pride in her voice when she would talk about what you were doing and all your accomplishments.  Her face would light up and she would smile that infectious smile of hers. You were her heart, and you brought her so much joy and infinite love.  
She was light. She was love.  She was the only person I would let call me Simmy and I will smile every time I think about her. ❤️ I will miss you my Sammy.    Love you all.

There are people in your life who you meet who help you strive to be a better person. Sharon was one of those people for me. You will be missed my friend.

There are no words to express my deep sympathy for you and for all of Sharon’s family. I’ve been lucky enough to have called Sharon my best friend since I was 5 years old. I can’t even count the days and nights I spent at sleepovers at her house when we were both just young kids growing up. Every morning started with peanut butter and cheddar cheese on Al’s homemade toast. After breakfast Joe would drive us to school. School days at Miscouche were filled with fun and spent with the best group of friends one could hope for. After school we walked around town and often ended up at Simone’s house (or at the house of whichever boy we currently had a crush on and called our boyfriend). Sharon was always smiling and I have so many memories of listening to the latest track (salt n papa’s “Push it” comes to mind) while making up our own dance moves and pretending we were in a music video. Sharon’s Meme always keeping an eye on our crazy shenanigans. When we moved on to the high school we added more new friends to our group and the fun and laughter just multiplied. I loved every minute I have spent sitting around Sharon’s parents kitchen table playing cards and laughing. When we grow up and lives become busy we sometimes don’t stay in touch with friends or see them as often as we should. But I always got excited anytime I drove home from work and saw the Red Matrix at the MacIntyre house. I knew I would soon be getting a phone call to say “I’m home! Come visit!!!”. I couldn’t get my shoes on fast enough to drive to see you all. I am so grateful that I had Sharon as my best friend. And I am so grateful that you all have shared your lives with me.  I hold all of you in my heart. I hope memories of Sharon and her beautiful smile can help you through the hard days. Love you.  - Jen.
