He was born in Moncton, March 15, 1959. From an early age Scott developed an adventurous approach to life which brought him and those he knew many great memories. Family first followed by friends and motorcycles were his passions.
He is survived by his father, Roy and his daughter, Michelle (Shane Baker); granddaughter, Ava Baker Martin, brother, David (Becky), nephews, Adam (Kim), Josh (Ashley) Martin and their families.
Scott made many friends through his working life in the electrical industry, he was employed by Nedco, Westburne, Easco Electric and Bell Electric in Nova Scotia before he moved to Bermuda where he was employed by P&M Electrical as an electrical manager.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19th at 11 am at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS. Reception to follow. Scott's final Harley Ride will be to the Fairview Cemetery for his interment.
The family would like to recognise the exceptional devotion of Scott's lifelong and best friend, John Keough who was at Scott's side for the last three years. Also, a special thanks to John's wife, Heather for her support. John was also amazingly supportive to Michelle all through her father’s illness.
Thanks to the great teams of fine people that helped and came to know Scott including the VON, Continuing Care NS, EHS, Dr. Heather Rigby and the QE2 - your care and kindness was exceptional.
The family would also like to recognize Carol Williams and Bernadette Eisenhauer, his special care givers, without them Scott would not have been able to live the way he wanted for the past two years.
Thank you to John, Bernadette, Carol and those others for making Scott’s wish to live at home possible.
