Ronald is survived by his wife and best friend of 67 years Maureen (Livingston), sons Weldon, Steven (Janice Waldron), David and Paul (Kristin Thompson), grandfather to Katrina, Kurtis (Waldron-Young) and Elise (Waldron-Young).
Ronald started from humble beginnings. He set goals for himself, worked hard to achieve them and succeeded. He put himself through Dalhousie University receiving a business degree. He joined the Canadian military reserve, then made a career in the federal government rising to regional executive with Excise Canada. His hard work and dedication supported his wife and four children as they traversed the country, from Halifax, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia to London and Waterloo Ontario before returning to Halifax where his roots were. Throughout he was a contributing member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He always took the time to listen, care and help.
Service will be November 12th at 2:00pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
