Born in Halifax, he was the only son of the late Percy and Gwendolyn (Green) Folland. He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Susan Dauphinee.
A graduate of Queen Elizabeth High School and King's College, Frank worked for many years in support positions at the IWK Children's Hospital, and, following his retirement, part-time in Walmart at Dartmouth Crossing.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Folland (Derrick Morrison), nephew Andrew Morrison and niece, Lesley Morrison.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00am at the Cathedral Church of All Saints (Cathedral Lane), Halifax, The Very Reverend Paul Smith officiating, with reception to follow in the Great Hall. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
Frank was a warm, generous kind-hearted person, with a smile and kind word for everyone. The sadness we feel at his passing is eased by knowing he is reunited with his soulmate and the love of his life, his beloved Susie.
