It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rodney Willard Levy on Sunday June 4th peacefully at his home in Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to so many.
Rod was born in Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia on June 8th 1958. He was the son of the late Willard and Julia Levy.
Rod was so many things but most of all he was a proud family man and a devoted husband. He was the most dependable, honest, hard working man and the rock of his family. He could fix anything and took great pride in everything he did. He was kind, sentimental, and a real jokster. He was a mentor to many people and believed in second chances.
Family and friends were everything to Rod. He loved his home and life. He enjoyed boating, especially in his later years at the Armdale yacht club.
Over his career Rod worked with Sears Canada, Downeast Communications, Bell Canada and MICCO.
Rod will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate of 43 years. Janet. They were each other's everything.
