Robin Carl Lunn, aged 55, of Bedford, NS passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 19, 2024 due to complications from a cardiac arrest. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Christina Rogers-Lunn, his beautiful daughter, Kathleen (Katie) Lunn, his parents, Carl and Heather (Barrett) Lunn, and brother Steven Lunn, of Beaver Bank, NS.
Robin grew up in Beaver Bank and had many in his life who loved him, his family and aunts and cousins and his large in-law family including his mother and father in-law, brothers and sisters in-law, the cousins, godchildren, his wonderful nieces and nephews whom he adored and many dear friends.
Robin worked previously for Quality Concrete and Irving Oil but retired 5 years ago when he was needed to help support the family businesses of his wife and daughter. No questions asked, he retired and jumped in, proud of being able to help and do new things. He loved music and golfing, travelling, spending time golfing in Florida and driving his convertible sports car on road adventures with friends.
Robin was a great guy, knew someone everywhere he went, was funny and charming and generous and was always there for others, ready to help. High school sweethearts, side by side with each other since 1985, Robin and Christina built an amazing life, the best of which is their daughter Katie. Words will never express this loss. Our hearts are broken.
The family would like to thank the emergency and hospital personnel who fought hard to save his life and treated Robin and his family with care and compassion. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23 from 6-9pm and a celebration of life service held on Wednesday, January 24 at 10am, both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, Robin would encourage a donation to the QEII Hospital or the Nova Scotia SPCA.
