Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of Nancy (Ryan) Hanscomb and the late Robert “Bob” Hanscomb.
Rick is survived by his mother, Nancy; Roxanne, Miranda, Gina, Johnny; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert and grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 from 1-4 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October, 9th, 2017, at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Prospect.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice in Rick’s memory.
