Born in Halifax on August 28, 1941, Patsy lived most of her adult life in Montreal and Toronto with a career in international shipping until her retirement as traffic manager with Nichimen Canada. Patsy had a great love of food, architecture, interior design and was always the most stylish and well-dressed among us. She returned home to Nova Scotia in 2000, and reconnected with her brothers, Ken and Gary and many family members and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Courtney and Helen (Hardie) Ashton, and siblings, Gary, Ken, June and Barbara. She is survived by sister-in-law Diane and nephews Steve (Jennifer) and Brian (Alexandra), and grand nieces and nephews Aaron, Sophie, Thomas and Maya. The family wishes to thank Nova Scotia Health, Continuing Care, EHS, VON and Dr. Allison Woodbury for their dedicated care and support.
In honour of Patsy’s wishes, no funeral will be held but friends and family are welcome to remember her and share memories at www.JASnowFuneralHome.com
