Nancy Rebecca Messervey

Messervey, Nancy Rebecca, 61, of Halifax passed away quietly on February 26, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Maxwell and Anne (Walker) Mercer. Nancy enjoyed spending time at home with her family, as well as with her dog KC. She is survived by her loving husband Robert; daughter Kim (Jamie); son James (Becky); sisters Glenda (Doug), Sharon (Bruce); granddaughters, Amber and Faith; nieces Lindsay, Emily, Abby, and nephew Adam. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8pm in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, where funeral service will be held on Thursday March 3rd at 10:30am. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the MS Society of Halifax.
