Mikie was a very brave and cool guy. His soul was a bright light I will never forget.

I remember Mike being almost everywhere in Halifax. A heavy presence with his light heart. 
He certainly touched many lives.

So sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I was one of his caregivers.  I always enjoyed my visits with Michael.  He was always playing jokes on me and always made me laugh.  He loved to carry on and try to get me going. He was such a great guy and had a wonderful sense of humour.  I will miss you Michael! May you Rest In Peace now. 

There are so many fond memories of mikie on the waterfront. His energy was infectious and his cheekiness always brought so much light to myself and coworkers. We had his 7 up in the fridge and his taxi on speed dial so he could make it to bingo. “Hey babyyy” and blowing kisses when he was being sweet and “psssht!” when he was cranky with you. Rest peacefully mikie, you meant a lot to so many. 

Mikey will be missed dearly 
 He had a heart of gold and his family was everything to him. Everytime i go up there and would say party party with his bottle of 7 up and blow kisses.
I will miss his smiling face and his fun loving humor.

I loved you so much, I could go on for days about special moments and special stories but you my love have given this family 65 years of your kindred heart as well as to the City we call Home Halifax! Thank you for holding my hand Saturday and letting me know you were at peace with this world! You left us your way and I am so proud to call myself your Niece Aka Pat’s Baby! As you finish your journey home to heaven to be with our loved ones, remember it’s your time to enjoy the Party Party Party as you unite with Ma and Pa and all your brothers, I’m sure Nanny was there to guide you as she always did! Lynn, I know your family means the world to you. I have heard you speak of many happy memories with Mikie. I knew who you were speaking about when you told me "he plays guitar on the waterfront."
If I so call remember, he also liked the Bill Lynch fair.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mikey’s passing. He was a fixture on the Halifax waterfront and we would tease each other all the time. He’d have me change his busking change into bills and would always ask me for a smooch and say “psssssht” when I told him my boyfriend wouldn’t approve! We settled for blowing kisses, instead. He was so kind and sweet. I have many fond memories of him. My condolences to all his family and friends. 

Michael was quite the character full of fun and humor. He will be greatly missed.

No matter where you went you would see him. He will be remembered as a Halifax fixture. May God bless and comfort the family during this time. I was so sad to hear of the passing of Mikey. He seemed to always be around when I grew up in Halifax. Mikey was a Halifax fixture and will be missed by so many people. I was thrilled to see him at the waterfront and enjoyed the time we shared. RIP buddy, you will always hold a place in my heart.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Mikie, I can remember him coming to our house at dinner time. We would say, Mikie are you staying for dinner, he'd nod his head and say, yup. So, we would say phone your mother, he'd call her and say Hi Mum Arsenault's, yup eat. lol What a funny guy he was. Rest Easy Mikie.

My Deepest Condolences to the Duffy Family and Friends. I enjoyed sitting and listening to Mikey play his guitar on the waterfront in the summer. Also going back to the Rumor’s days Mikey was always out on the floor dancing and shouting baby baby and having a great time. He was loved by the hole city and will be missed. R.I.P my friend Mikey.
