June worked at the Victoria General Hospital, the Airport and CFB Halifax for many years at each location. She was a strong and independent woman who lived her life to the fullest till her passing. She loved and cared for her animals. If she found a hurt animal, she would bring them home and nurse them to health. She had a way with animals that amazed everyone.
She was born June 9, 1933 in Halifax. She was predeceased by her son James Lewis and parents John Micheal Saccary and Kathleen Florance (Parks), brothers John Clifford and Clarence Angus (Corky). She is Survived by sister Marjorie (Fred) Smith of 52 North River Road Aylesford N. S. brother Donald (Theresa) Saccary of Halifax.

There will be a small Celebration of Life at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Wednesday May 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow.
