Mary Claire Foley

Claire was a long time office manager at Atlantic Nova Print. She was a life long bridge player and enjoyed playing in a number of bridge clubs. She particularly looked forward to their annual bridge getaway at the Amherst Shore with her dear friends. Claire also enjoyed music and was a regular at the Halifax Jazz festival each summer. She volunteered at the IWK Health Centre, Northwood, and was a member of the Darjeeling Mission Society. A devote Catholic, she was also a member of the Eucharist for St. Thomas Aquinas Parish,

Survived by daughters, Anne, Janet, Frances (Dougal MacDonald); sons, Wallace (Bernadette Stephenson), Dennis, Robert (Lynne Pottie); 12 grandchildren, Jillian, Carolynne, Andrea, Katie, Michelle, Lauren, Scott, Michael, Stephen, Alyson, David, Kathryn; 6 great-grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Jackson, Wyatt, Elise, and Hayden, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by husband, John Wallace “Wally” Foley; sister, Elaine Haynes; brother, John Duffy.

Mom was so very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We were blessed to have such a loving and supportive mother. She will be missed and stay in our hearts forever.
