Marjorie Elizabeth Ferris

Ferris, Marjorie Elizabeth (Howe) age 77 of Halifax, passed away January 9, 2014 at the Halifax Infirmary with God’s hand on her heart, surrounded by those who loved her most. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Howe. Marjorie was a long time member of St. Philip’s Church, Halifax (Apostles). Past employee of Jack & Co Insurance and Halifax Regional School Board. She will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched. Survived by her husband of 39 years, John; daughter, Andrea (Tyler) Feindel, Kingston, NS; sister, Frances (Douglas) Graham, Long Island, NY; granddaughter Makenzie; cousins, Helen and Marie; nieces, Madeline Graham, Emily Graham Towle (Chris).

Visitation will take place in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, B3S 0E1 (455-0531) on Monday January 13, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, January 14, at 2:00 pm in the Anglican Church of the Apostles, 6670 Bayers Road, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
