Margaret Redding

Redding, Margaret Irene, age 80 of Halifax passed away January 20, 2015 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario, she was a daughter of Stanley and Beatrice Redding. As a long time resident of Northwood, Margaret made many friends. She enjoyed bowling, choir, bingo and would not miss Coronation Street for anything. Behind her loud voice and rough exterior, she was a kind, caring mother figure that treated everyone she met equally. She always spoke up and made sure that everyone got what they needed. She is survived by daughters Lori Sutherland(Brent), Belleville ON, Amy, Dartmouth, sister Mary Clark, Halifax, John, Gays River, David, Dartmouth, grandchildren Dayna, Shannon, Samantha, Nicholas and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister in law Janet(wife of John). Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11am in JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Hfx. B3S 0E1(902-455-0531). Cremation has taken place. Burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 2 Bedford Hwy. Hfx. Special thank you to all the staff at Northwood who made our mother feel at home.
