Margaret Anne Nolen

October 23rd, 2019, at the age of 71 years old.

Marg will lovingly be remembered forever by her husband of 52 years, John, and her children, Barbara Easley (Bill) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Michael Nolen (Lori) of Richmond, VA. Marg will also be remembered and cherished by her five grandchildren, Christopher and Catherine Easley and Matthew, Brooke and Jenna Nolen; her sister, Barbara McCully (Barry) whom she loved dearly. Marg was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Avis (Webb) Miles.

Marg was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, and grew up in Nova Scotia. She returned to the region

(Prospect Bay) in 1996, after spending years living in Ottawa, Calgary, and Newmarket, Ontario

and was famous for her Friday night waterfront parties. Spending winters in Sebring, Florida,

while entertaining grandkids and friends and spending time on photography and travel were

three of her most passionate endeavors. She travelled the world including most of Europe and

Asia and several countries in Africa. Marg’s working career was spent as a Registered Nurse

working in hospitals throughout the country and she was often described by patients as

compassionate and caring.

A celebration of Marg’s life will occur in the summer of 2020. Memorial donations may be made to Bide Awhile Animal Shelter
