For years she worked at the Dept. of National Defense, where she happily retired. Long standing resident of the community of Uniacke Square. Everyone who knew Margaret, loved her, and anyone that came into her home was welcomed with open arms. Her passions were bingo, knitting, shopping, and children.
Margaret is survived by her daughters Donna Forde, Sheena Izzard-Bryan (Mike), Brenda Talbot, Nicolette Izzard, Demaria Izzard, and Keena Izzard; Sons Everett Izzard (Corey), Antonio Izzard (Kelly), Derrick Reid-Izzard, Brandon Izzard; Eldest sister Sarah Hayward and other loving sisters, brothers, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Harold Brown; brothers Freeman Izzard Jr. and Robert Borden; sisters Ada Reid and Bessie Smith; and granddaughter Teesha Izzard-Price.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 21st from 5-7pm in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home where service will also occur at 7:00pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, Margaret would appreciate a donation to Hope Cottage or Mega Girls Basketball Team.
