It's been a few days since you went home to be with the Lord and since then I have been trying to put my thoughts into something of tribute. It's not easy. So I'm gonna do just what you would say to me and that's "keep it simple boy" lol. I just want to thank you for being ALWAYS so very kind and loving to me and Joseph. Always accepting (with a joke or 20) because that was you and you never changed.  I remember all the conversations we had in good times and bad times as well. Not matter what the circumstance you were always there to talk and laugh with.  That's what made you so special. Man, I can easily close my eyes and hear ya laughin' at something.  This,along with unique wisdom and perspective of things,made you the angel that everybody knew and loved. I was honored to be your son & I will always remain such...and you will always be my "Comical Margaret". Please give My mother a hug  and kiss from me. Love you Mom xoxoxo. Allen,Joseph and Sheldon.

My sincerest condolences are extended to Margaret's family.  My late mother and I were good friends at st. Joseph's bingo years ago where we looked forward to attending and playing bingo with Margaret and also she invited us to her home for one of her birthdays where she welcomed us like one of her family.  I was most saddened to hear of the passing of this kind, genuine, fun-loving lady as I just had the pleasure of talking and reminiscing with her at superstore just a few weeks ago.  May we all treasure the happy memories of Margaret.  My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

There is no amount of words I could say or include in this to really summarize, to the greatest magnitude, how much I love you! There are to many memories, I could literally write a book, about you. I want to thank you for being you! Thank you for loving me but most importantly thank you for loving my son. It’s unfortunate he won’t get the opportunity to grow and know how special his nan is.

She truly was one of the Uniacke Square mother's in the village who watched out for us no matter how old we were. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten. Aunt Margaret would always welcome me in her home with Lee Lee I could stay as long as I wanted. My fondest memories of her was when me and Lee Lee would walk over to her work. I loved going to her house because her cupboards and freezer were always stalked full! We could cook whatever we wanted! Aunt Margaret always had a lil cute dog. I spent many overnights in those beautiful crispy clean sheets, and ate many meals at your table, My very first experience with sugar cane was at your home and oh how I loved your banana bread. You treated me like your very own child. Throughout my teens and into woman hood “Aunt Margaret never changed. Always concerned and compassionate with that sparkle of love in your eyes and a kind word for everyone. You had a way of making me as well as others feel as though we were your favourite. It is no wonder the community mourns you. A true gem and it’s rarity is so hard to find. Aunt Margaret you were an earth angel to many. Now you have gained your heavenly wings. You will surely be missed but knowing you , You will be up there still looking out for all
you called your babies. I loved you then, I love you now and I will love and cherish you forever more. My only regret is I did not keep my promise to come by for my last good conversation and your famous homemade banana bread. When I first moved to Brunswick St.   Margaret always had a smile for me.  Day after day we greeted each other.  For over 20 years I admired this strong lady who never changed. I would wait on the stoop for her and 7T to walk by, we all did.  she was such a delight in my life.  when it wasn't 7T is was Timothy.  she shared so much of herself everyday.  I will miss you Margaret...my friend.

The last few months with you have been the happiest I’ve seen you. You had this vibrance about you that is indescribable and something I will always remember as I mourn you.
